snow day!

Today we played hookie (actually starting Lindsey’s Bday celebrations this week) and went Skiing!!  About 1.5 hrs away, probably the smallest hills you’ve ever seen BUT perfect for these 3 and their FIRST time!!  Me, I’ve skied quiet a bit… 18 YRS AGO!!

But it came right back to me.. I even won the award for not falling (Alyssa flip flopped all over Shanah with her skis and poles a few times and took her down)

Few runs down the bunny hill and we were ready to hit the real slopes!! ha, ha…  Carly was flying down the blues and Alyssa even a black by the end of the day.. Skied all day.  I can’t really see straight. I need sleep.  It was chilly, 8 above.  But we finally dragged the girls off after 7 hrs.  Don’t know which one loved it more.  Carly caught on real fast, Lindsey had troubles getting on the ski lift and Alyssa was flopping all over at first.

Auntie Shanah (Jared’s lil sis) just turned 1-8.  I remember her big bro introducing her to me less then a week old.  What a fine lady you’ve become, such a servants heart!  Thank you for coming with and making our day extra special.  Not sure I could have handled these first timers without you!  Love ya like a Sis,
